Most couples find us nine to fourteen months out, and summer Saturdays go first. If you are following a Tamil auspicious calendar, know that the popular dates get taken very quickly once they are announced, so it is worth reaching out as soon as you have yours. If your date is sooner than that, ask anyway. Things open up more often than people expect.

You tell us about the weekend and we send a quote back. If it feels right, you pick your package and add-ons, we put the details and the contract in front of you to read properly, and a retainer holds the date. After that everything lives in your own portal. No digging through email chains six months down the line: your documents, questionnaires, song picks and revisions are all in one place.

Yes, and further than that. Once you are past Halton or Durham there is a travel cost, and it goes in the quote from the start, so you won't find any surprise invoices later. We also film destination weddings, anywhere in Canada or overseas. Ask us and we will work out what getting the team there actually costs.

If your wedding doesn't fit the packages we offer, tell us what the weekend actually looks like and we will price exactly that, without padding it out with things you don't want. Most of the weddings we film don't fit neatly into three boxes anyway.

We will move it, as long as we are still available. Tell us in writing and your retainer moves across to the new date along with everything else you have paid, for a $500 rescheduling fee plus HST. Two things worth knowing up front: the new date has to fall within twelve months of the original, and you can move once. If the package price is higher for the new date, the higher price applies. Cancelling outright is the only thing that costs you the retainer.

Yes. Plenty of venues want proof before they will let any vendor through the door, so send us the request or the venue's contact and we will get a certificate over to them. We also carry backup bodies, lenses and cards, which means a piece of equipment failing on the day is our problem to solve and not something you will ever notice.

Think of the highlight film as the short cinematic recap of the day, four to five minutes long. The ceremony or coverage film is the long form edit that runs from the start of your day through to the end. That one is typically three stationary cameras with a few cinematic angles, with the fluff taken out to bring it down to about an hour to an hour and a half. That length follows your ceremony rather than a target we are aiming at: a short ceremony gives us less to work with and the film comes in shorter, and an unusually long one runs longer. The way we usually put it is that the highlight film is the one you two want to watch, and the full ceremony film is the one your parents want to watch.

Yes, and ask this of everyone you talk to, not just us. Anyone can edit a good four minutes. The full film is where you find out whether someone knows what they are doing. Tell us which tradition your ceremony follows and we'll send you two to watch start to finish.

Six to eight months. We take a limited number of weddings a year on purpose. A coverage film is an hour to an hour and a half of edited footage, not a quick reel, and we would rather do yours properly than push it out the door. If you need it sooner, express delivery brings it down to one month for $500.

That is what the edits are for. A same day edit is put together during the day itself and screened that night ($2,500). A next day edit is turned around overnight and ready the following day ($1,950), which is the one to pick if your wedding and reception fall on separate dates. We can also feed a camera straight to the screens in the hall so guests at the back can see what is happening at the front ($450). Tell us early if you want any of these, because they change how we run the day.

Yes. About three months before the wedding your song selections open in your portal. Paste a link from YouTube or Spotify. If you would rather have something custom made for the two of you instead of a track everyone knows, our music engineer Thanushan scores a custom soundtrack for $500.

You can. Add it for $500 and a hard drive follows your films with every clip we shot, uncut. It is worth knowing what that actually is before you buy it: hours of material, a fair bit of it us holding a shot waiting for something to happen. Most couples are happiest with the finished films, but it is yours if you want it.

Cinematically candid, which is a little cheesy said out loud but it is the honest description. We want the film to look like a film and we want the moments in it to be real ones, so we are not going to spend your day lining people up and pointing them at the camera. We stay out of the way, we know where to stand, and we let the day happen.

The link stays live for a year, which covers the stretch when you are actually sending it around. The USB is the copy you keep and that one does not expire. Put it somewhere sensible and copy the files off it when you get a chance, the same as you would with any drive.

Most of the ones we film aren't. Tamil, Hindu, Punjabi, Telugu, Arabic and Sinhala ceremonies are all familiar ground. We know what is coming and roughly when, so nobody in your family has to stand beside us narrating the day.

You will be, for about the first hour. Then you get distracted by your own wedding and forget we are there, which is exactly what we are counting on. We are never going to ask you to pose, or to run something again for a second take. Most of what ends up in your highlight film is you talking to someone you love, and nobody looks stiff doing that.

We have people we trust for exactly this. If one of us genuinely cannot be there we bring in a filmmaker we know and have worked with before, rather than leaving you a person short, and your film is still edited by us. You would still get two cinematographers and the same finished product.

Two cinematographers and an assistant. In the morning one of us is at the bride's house and one is at the groom's, while the assistant is already at the venue setting up the ceremony cameras and the lights, so we are ready to roll the moment we get there.

Probably. We have been filming across the GTA since 2016. If it is somewhere new to us we will check it out ahead of time to know the layout and how to set up.

Yes, where the venue and the weather allow it. It is part of the coverage rather than something to buy. Some venues will not permit it and some airspace is closed to it, which is out of our hands, but where we can fly we will.

Of course. We only shoot film, never stills, so we are never competing with your photographer for the same frame. We will reach out to them the week before so everyone knows the plan. They lead the portraits and we work around them. We strongly believe teamwork makes the dream work, so we bring headsets and keep everyone on the same page rather than getting in each other's way.

Yes. Mehndi, sangeet, engagement, whatever the weekend holds. A pre-event is $2,000 for four hours of coverage and $350 an hour after that, and it includes a coverage film of the event. You can decide whether we include that in your highlight film or keep it as its own piece. If there is a second ceremony on another day we film and edit that in full for $3,000. An engagement shoot is $1,000 and we include it in your highlight film, which is a nice way to get used to being on camera before the day everyone is watching.

Yes. A private livestream link starts at $650, so anyone who couldn't make the flight can still watch the ceremony as it happens.

Yes. The 14 hour package can be split across two days, so your wedding and reception don't have to share a date.

Half holds your date. The other half is due a month before the wedding. We take cash and e-transfer.

No. Every price on this page is before HST.

It happens, and it is rarely anyone's fault. Ceremonies start late, family group shots can run forever, we get it. Sometimes you have to roll with the punches. Extra time is $350 an hour and we will agree it with you on the day rather than surprising you with it afterwards.

Yes, and you can do it yourself. You will be able to add more options through your portal at any time. Extra events and extra hours are the easiest to slot in. A same day edit is the one to tell us about early, because it changes how we run the day.

No, the retainer is non-refundable, because once your date is yours we stop offering it to anyone else. Moving the date is a different thing. If you postpone to a date we are free within twelve months of the original, the retainer moves with you for a $500 rescheduling fee plus HST, and you can do that once. Even if you do cancel outright, it is only the retainer you lose: we refund the balance you have paid, less any third-party costs we have already committed to for your wedding, itemised so you can see them.
